  • Medical Stop Loss Marketing Representative – Permanent Full Time

    The Role

    USBenefits Insurance Services, LLC is a full service Managing General Underwriter. We provide Medical Stop Loss Reinsurance for employer groups through qualified Third-Party Administrators and select brokers. USBenefits has complete responsibility for all administration, claims and underwriting decisions pertaining to its Medical Stop Loss program. Our departments work in concert to deliver financially stable Medical Stop Loss products.

    Stop Loss Underwriters, Claims Auditors and Marketers are invited to apply for USBenefits Insurance Services (USBenefits) vacancy in our Marketing department.

    Stop loss experience is required. The ideal candidate should have experience in Marketing, Underwriting and/or Claims. A marketing background is very helpful, but not necessary – a marketing attitude coupled with a sense of creativity and good business acumen is more important.

    This may be a hybrid or remote position; therefore, it can be located anywhere in the United States.

    Travel is approximately 10%.

    Key Responsibilities:

    The responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

    • Generate and increase stop loss submission activity and revenue growth through strategic marketing efforts.
    • Utilize consultative and solution-based approaches to build and maintain relationships with customer contacts, as well as assist with negotiating sales opportunities, including renewals.
    • Evaluate prospective group/account exposures and coverages. Target production sources with highest opportunity of achieving USBenefit’s objectives, such as premium growth, profitability, retention, rate increase and other metrics.
    • Develop a marketing plan to achieve assigned objectives, which includes collecting competitive information, marketing data and industry trends.
    • Demonstrate exceptional internal / external marketing and collaboration skills.
    • Active participation in industry trade events and other venues.
    • Manage company’s social media presence, including content development.

    Additional requirements:

    • At least five years of stop loss experience.
    • Must be a team player, who works collaboratively with a proactive approach.
    • Understands insurance Marketing distribution models (i.e. roles of MGU, carrier, TPA, brokers, consultants, agents, etc.).
    • Strong organization, time management and analytical skills.
    • Solution-oriented and able to think “outside of the box.”
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Salary from $75,000 subject to experience.

  • Stop Loss Claims Auditor / Senior Stop Loss Claims Auditor – Permanent Full Time

    The Role

    The Stop Loss Claims Auditor / Senior Stop Loss Claims Auditor is responsible for auditing claims submitted to USBenefits for reimbursements by Third Party Administrators (TPA) and brokers.

    The ideal candidate will have at least five years of Medical Stop Loss Claim auditing experience.

    You will work with our team to promote our products and services, build relationships with our clients, and help us achieve our business goals. We are looking for someone who is passionate about what they do and wants to make a difference in our industry.

    Key Responsibilities:

    The key responsibilities of a Stop Loss Claims Auditor / Senior Stop Loss Claims Auditor, are but not limited to:

    • Work with and serve as an advisor to our TPA / Brokers partners to gather documentation for claims and notices.
    • Audit claims according to the stop loss contract and the Group’s Plan Document.
    • Identify cost containment opportunities.
    • Enter claims and notices in the system.
    • Work closely across departments (e. G. – Premium Accounting, Contract, Underwriting) to ensure a timely/quality product.

    The key skills and qualities of a Stop Loss Claims Auditor / Senior Stop Loss Claims Auditor, are:

    • At least three (3) years of Stop Loss Claims auditing experience.
    • Proficient with Microsoft office – Word, Excel, etc.
    • Understands insurance and has an in-depth knowledge health claims.
    • Good understanding of stoploss industry. (i.e. roles of MGU, carrier, TPA, brokers, consultants, agents, etc.).
    • Strong organization, time management and analytical skills, with an aptitude for problem solving.
    • Must be a team player, who works collaboratively with a proactive approach.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
